Kitchen salt (NaCl) crystals. The salt has been in a salt shaker for over 5 years and, evidently, shows the effects of humid-dry weather cycles. In high humidity, condensed water droplets dissolved a small amount of the salt and then the droplets dried out leaving deposits on the surface of the salt crystals. Enhanced SEM.
