Gigantism and ateleiosis. Picture postcard illustrating a performance in Tiny Town, Olympia, (January, 1927). An abnormally tall and an abnormally small man: the former about to light the latter's cigarette. Lettering typed and attached separately to mount. Continues: "Both individuals are adults. The one who is abnormally tall is a case of pituitary gigantism. The hyper-pituitarism occurred before union of epiphyses had taken place. The abnormally small individual is well proportioned, and is able to wear well cut clothes. This proportioned dwarfism, so unlike achondroplasia, is ateleiosis." 1927
