Captain G繹ring (right with cap) was one of Germany's most decorated WWI flying aces with (center) Anthony Fokker, designer of the famous Fokker aircraft. Hermann Wilhelm G繹ring (January 12, 1893 - October 15, 1946) was a German politician, military leader, and leading member of the Nazi Party. A veteran of WWI as an ace fighter pilot, he was a recipient of the coveted Pour le M矇rite, also known as the "Blue Max". He was the last commander of Jagdgeschwader 1, the fighter wing once led by Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron. Anton Herman Gerard "Anthony" Fokker (April 6, 1890 - December 23, 1939) was a Dutch aviation pioneer and an aircraft manufacturer. He is most famous for the fighter aircraft he produced in Germany during WWI such as the Eindecker monoplanes, the Dr.1 triplane and the D.VII biplane. No date or location available.
