Lunokhod 2 lunar rover, on display at the Kaluga Space Museum. The rover was deployed in 1973, and operated on the surface of the moon for four months, covering over slightly over 37 kilometers (23 miles) of terrain. This remains the longest distance covered by any robotic rover, or any vehicle, ever driven on another celestial body.
