A giant sculpted head of Ramesses II at the Ramesseum, the mortuary temple dedicated to the Pharaoh Ramesses II (also known as Ramses or Rameses). The temple was constructed after the Ramesses' death in the 13th century BC. It is located in the Theban necropolis in Upper Egypt, across the Nile river from the modern city of Luxor, Egypt.
