Dilmun period (2500-2000 BC) settlement of Saar in the Kingdom of Bahrain complete with streets, houses, workshops and a temple. Discovered in 1984, the village had laid undisturbed for 4 millenia just below the surface, its walls in places are still up to 3 meters high. Adjacent to the village is a so-called Honeycomb cemetery from Dilmun times nicknamed after its interlocking graves. When excavating the archaeologists used the grid-system.
