Interior view of Saint Paul's Chapel at 209 Broadway, in lower Manhattan. George Washington worshipped here, and there is a pew dedicated to him. Saint Paul's is a Chapel of the parish of Trinity Church. Located next to the World Trade Center, it escaped damage on 9/11 and served as place of rest and refuge during the rescue work. There are exhibits in the church that document the church during the event.
