Center plate: Eve sits on left of a tree with an apple in her left hand, while Adam, standing on right, plucks an apple. The serpent entwined in the tree has the face of a young man. Border: An architectural frame with two bearded old men as caryatids, each holding a large orb surmounted by a cross and with a string of jester's bells draped over it. At top is a skull and hour-glass, with a small boy at each side. At bottom is a skull with cross-bones in the center and a small boy with an hour-glass on each side.
