View of Tourbillon Castle (right hilltop) and the Valere basilica, a fortified church (left), above the town of Sion, Valais, Switzerland. Both were originally built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Tourbillon suffered a fire in 1788 and was never restored; what stands now are its ruins. The Basilica is still in use, and contains the world's oldest functioning organ (dating from 1430).
