Portrait of Saint Francesca Xavier Cabrini circa 1880. Mother Cabrini is known for her religious work, namely founder of Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. Cabrini lived from 1850 to 1917, and was the first U.S. citizen to be declared a saint by the Roman Catholic church following her death.
