Romania Cluj-Napoca (KLausenburg in German) is Romania's third largest city, an economic powerhouse and a center of culture and higher learning with 3 universities. In the l2th Century German settlers founded Klausenburg on the site of the Roman camp and town Napoca. They built the Church of St. Michael from 1350 - 1487. In the 15th Century Cluj became the political, economic and cultural center of the Hungarians in Transylvania.
