The capital city Argost籀li on the Ionian Island of Cephalloni獺, Greece. The city was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1953. The bridge accessing the town across the lagoon was constructed 1810-1814 in wood by Col. Charles Philip de Bosset, a Swiss engineer in British employ, and later rebuilt in stone.
