The main entrance of the American Museum of Natural History on Central Park West and 79th Street in New York City. The entrance was designed as a Theodore Roosevelt Memorial by John Russell Pope. The statue, by James Earle Frasier, is of former president Teddy Roosevelt on horseback. Roosevelt, whose father was one of the AMNH's founders, ardently supported the museum.
