Omo River, Ethiopia. The green and white tents of an international researcher group can be found in the middle of the image. They are on the eroded plateau of the Omo River Valley. The oldest specimens of Zinjanthropus boisei, an early primte, were discovered in Omo by Louis Leakey and eventually became known as Australopithecus boisei.
