Iron sulfides (the minerals marcasite and pyrite) precipitated from hydrothermal fluids in rocks of the Haughton impact structure on Devon Island, Canada. The white, fluffy material is a mixture of sulphate minerals, including gypsum. The whole assemblage reflects both high-temperature fluid activity (the sulfides) and lower-T weathering and hydrolysis.
