The Taiji Cave Shrimp, Typhlocaridina lanceifrons, is known only from one small karst window (a small cave pool) and no place else on Earth. This highly specialized shrimp is found in Taiji Cave, Wuming County, Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi Province, China. The shrimp exhibits a high degree of troglomorphism in that is no longer has eyes or pigment. Photographed in Guangxi, China, 2011.
