There are many "new species" of animals in the wild that are unrecognized to science. This is one such example. Lurking in the depths of the Amazon, this knife fish has yet to be described. Some individuals of this species have a bent upper jaw, creating a salmon-like appearance. The duck-billed knifefish is an electric fish from the family Apteronotidae that is found in deep waters of the Amazon. Little is known of these fish except that they live in deep waters.
