Black-headed Python (Aspidites melanocephalus). This snake grows to around 2.5 meters and occurs across northern Australia. It is a nocturnal and a slow-moving, inoffensive snake. It feeds primarily on reptiles, including other snakes, though it may occasionally eat mammals and birds. Wolfram Camp, North Queensland, Australia.
