Gilbert's Dragon Lizard (Amphibolurus gilberti). This dragon lizard, or agamid, is also known as the 'ta-ta lizard' for its habit of arm waving when exhibiting display behavior. It occurs in open forests and woodlands in tropical northern Australia. It is partly arboreal and often perches on tree trunks and low branches. Like many agamids, these lizards are able to run on their hindlimbs at high speed for short distances. Ootann, North Queensland, Australia
