Hylomantis lemur, the white eyed leaf frog, is a critically threatened species. It has endured serious population declines throughout its range in Central America. Deadly chytrid fungus is believed to have played a part in the species' decline as has habitat destruction. IUCN lists it as endangered. This individual is from a population in Central Panama.
