Bee fly (Bombylius sp.) feeding on bluet flower (Hedyotis caerulea) nectar. Bee flies have long, specialized, proboscises for probing deep inside flowers. The thick hair-like setae covering their bodies are believed to help these flies regulate their body temperatures.
