The Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus) is the largest true falcon in the world. This bird is circumpolar, and nests in the Arctic regions of North America, Europe, Asia, Greenland, and Iceland. This one was photographed at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington.
