Tree swallows (Tachycineta bicolor) mating. The aggressive tree swallows breed over most of North America and winter in the extreme southern US and Central America. They spend their days flying over meadows, ponds, rivers, and lawns snatching up flies, ants, beetles, bees, wasps, grasshoppers and other insects.
