Engraving for Samuel Butler's 'Hudibras'. Hudibras (left) and Ralpho (right) were confined in stocks as a form of public humiliation. The men are serenaded by a fiddler with a wooden leg. Illustrated by Charlton Nesbit (1775-1838) an English wood engraver. Dated 19th century.
