Steam road locomotive, built by Mr Rickett for the Earl of Caithness, in which the Earl and Countess and the Rev. W. Ross drove the 150 miles from Inverness to Barrogell Castle, in two days. 1860. Thomas Rickett from Buckingham, England, made a steam-powered car in 1860.
