Reportage in the epileptology unit in Nice Hospital, France. Epilepsy diagnosis: EEG in a 52-year old patient hospitalized in the neurology service following a series of seizures. The EEG measures cerebral electrical activity. Intermittent light test: a lamp sends small stroboscopic flashes of light. This stimulation can cause epileptic seizures in some photosensitive patients.
