Nazi Era, Decree regarding Physicians' National Health Insurance. (April 22, 1933. The services of non-Aryan and Communist physicians within the National Health Insurance are terminated. Future admission is granted only to physicians who are German nationals and of 'Aryan' descent, and are not Communists. Admission may be granted to a 'non-Aryan'' physician if he has participated in the war of 1914-18 on the side of Germany or her allies, or if his father or son was killed during that war.
