Duke of York on 26 April 1923; when a party of the King's Indian Orderly Officers were conducted to the grave of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey; where they were received by the Abbey authorities.The King Emperor's four Sikh Indian Orderly Officers; Risaldar Jiwan Singh; I.D.S.M. Subadar Harnath Singh; M.C. I.O.M. Risaldar Rewat Singh; M.C. and Subadar-Major Bir Singh; M.C. standing by the grave of the Unknown Warrior. They are wearing white; blue and navy blue uniforms with red and gold kamarbands. Behind them on the left stand two Gentlemen-at-Arms in white-plumed helmets; red coats and blue trousers. On the right stand Canon Storr in scarlet; E.F. Knapp-Fisher; Receiver-General of the Abbey; in black with a white cravat; and a verger in black.
