Table showing crop revenue from Agra.These statistical tables show the revenue collected from the spring and autumn harvest of Agra between 1562 and 1580. Commodities collected included sugarcane; indigo; hemp; poppies; cotton; pulses; rice and melons. The revenue was measured in copper coins (dam). Abu'l Fazl's A'in-i Akbari (鈥楻egulations of Akbar') provided a detailed geographical; historical and statistical account of the empire. It was the first work of its kind; based on private memoirs; imperial archives; and sources in many different languages.
