ARNOLFO OF CAMBIO (circa 1232 or circa 1240 - March 8; 1302-1310); also known as Arnolfo di Lapo; an Italian sculptor; architect and urbanist active in Rome and Florence in the late twentieth century and early in the following century. The portrait is enclosed in a frame decorated with putti that hold the tools of art and an allegory of painting.
