Operation Buster-Jangle atom bomb test, 1951. US armed forces personnel watching the mushroom cloud rising after the detonation of an atom bomb at the Nevada Test Site, USA, on 1 November 1951. Codenamed 'Dog', this 21-kiloton test also included the Desert Rock I exercise where military personnel observed the atmospheric nuclear test.
