Scott's Run, West Virginia, USA, Chaplin Hill, This scene is typical of many camps built near the mine. In the background can be seen several of the government sanitary privies. These houses are multiple dwellings which accomodate several families. It is one of the few camps on Scott's Run which affords space for hogs and garden, 1936, Lewis Hine, 1874-1940, was an American photographer, who used his camera as a tool for social reform.
