The Bassac River (commonly called Tonle Bassac) is a distributary of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River. The river starts from Phnom Penh; Cambodia; and flows south out to the Vietnamese border near Ch鈛 ?c.

In Vietnam; it is known as the H?u River (S鬾g H?u or H?u Giang in Vietnamese). The Bassac River is a popular entry and exit route for the locals between Cambodia and Vietnam and is used for transporting goods between the two countries.
