ARCHAEOLOGY Detail of the amphitheater (horizontal) of the archaeological diggings of Roman Libarna; one of the more interesting and rich places than history of the low Piemonte. Libarna is named by Plinio; Ptolemy; and many times over in the Alimentary Tabula of Trajan; whose importance united grew to its dimensions beginning from the opening of the Way Postumia in the 148 a.C that it joined Genoa to Aquileia.
