SAINT VINCENZA GEROSA (1784-1847) Cofondatrice of the Nuns of Charity or Maria Child; began its institute in 1832 in an inherited villa and from she transformed in hospital with the aid of the sister Rose; and entrusted to the direction of Bartolomea Capitanio; to the dead women of which Vincenza assumed the weight of the religious and disciplinary organization of the Institute; beatified in 1933 and canonizzata in 1950; festivity 14/05.
