Hiroshima: children sing for the peace in front of Children's Peace Memorial; the monument dedicated to Sadako; small victim of the nuclear radiations. When he discovered of being sick of leukaemia; the child determined to make 1000 cranes of paper. In Japan the crane is symbol makeshift and happiness; and the child was convinced that the 1000 cranes ended; would be recovered. It unfortunately died before to end the work; and its companions of class in order to honor its memory decided to continue to make the paper cranes. Such moving history does so as that today still; in memory of Sadako and for the peace; very many cranes are made and placed to Hiroshima. 2319 Japan To cite in the credit: Fototeca Gilardi/Raffaella Milandri
