LAVANDAIE two women wash the cloth knelt down in the torrent: they are the mother and the aunt of Ando Gilardi (Maria and Rita de Who blessed) resumptions posteriorly in attitude that exalts their giunoniche feminine forms. The place is Caldasio: village where the native house of the father is found and where the photographer was dispersed by Genoa and it enlisted in the partisans.
