Tram and passengers. Passengers on a tram (streetcar) operating in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Known as QLine, this is the first tram system in the city since 1956. It runs for 5.3 kilometres along Woodward Avenue (M-1), operating on electric batteries and overhead electric power lines. It is operated by M-1 Rail, with a rolling stock of six articulated 3-section, low-floor Brookville Liberty Modern Streetcars, each 20 metres long.
