Ant-mimic jumping spider on a leaf. This species of jumping spider (family Salticidae) preys on ants and mimics their appearance and behaviour in order to blend in with its prey. Here, the spider's mouthparts (chelicerae, centre right) are elongated in order to mimic those of an ant.
