The large, loose and bright open cluster NGC 6871 (centre) in central Cygnus in a rich starfield of the Milky Way. The red nebula at right is Sh2-101. However, the field is laced with faint nebulosity. The sparse open cluster NGC 6883 is at left, but is hard to distinguish from the background starfield.
