The metallic impurities in the flakes of plastic are eliminated through ferromagnetic processing (overband) or Foucault currents. The plastic flakes undergo a final sorting by flotation (the lightest materials remain on the surface) and are then transformed into granulates by an extruder. The granulates obtained are melted in a thermoforming furnace and transformed into finished products.
