MYTHOLOGY The infant Bacchus is delivered from Mercury to Ino and the Nymphs of the valley of Nysa because it will alleviate. According to some versions of the myth; which draw consideration to the greek god Dionysus; the mother Semele (sister of Ino) was incinerated before the pregnancy was completed; and his father Zeus; moved to pity; had saved the fetus and he himself carried out the pregnant holding protected for the last three months in his thigh.
