TOURISM teaches the Archaeological Museum of Acqui Terme; situated in the Castle Palaeologan. Mentioned for the first time in 1056 the castle; having been conquered several times; was rebuilt in the fifteenth century by the Marquis of Monferrato William VIII Palaeologus. Part of the castle houses the Municipal Archaeological Museum; which houses many artifacts; especially from the Roman era; found in the vicinity of the city. The display signage is placed on an old brick wall in the tourist town of Piedmont; the top sign; rather worn; it seems in contradiction with the lower one; but the most recent of a temporary nature; which indicates the entrance of the Museum and the "Garden of birds.
