SIMEON CHILD (1472-1475) or Simonino from Trento (traditionally known as St. Simonino) venerated as blessed by the Catholic Church until 1965; then removed from the rite. The facts reported the discovery of a dead child; Easter Sunday; 1475; in the waters of a canal near a residence of Jews living in Trento. His worship is a witness of anti-Semitic discrimination suffered by the Jewish community in that circumstance was immediately accused (unjustly) of the death of the child; allegedly occurred during the practice of human sacrifice rituals with 'ritual murder'; the so-called accusations of 'Easters of blood 'Recurrence March 24 Lithograph by Philip Bigioli (1798 -1878) Rome 1843
