POLPO - polpo common or piovra (Octopus vulgaris Cuvier; 1797) is a cefalopode of the Octopodidae family. Often one refers to us to the polpo using the word polipo; but the correct name is polpo; Examples of polipi are the anemones of sea and the madrepore (the manifacturing corals of the coral reefs).
