The brother of the spouse covers an important part in the ceremonies: since the promise spouse cannot attend to own engagement; sends like messenger own brother to dispense gifts; garments; cakies and the sword to the promised spouse and is given the official afforded one here to the wedding. The Ladies Sangeet is celebrated by the family of the spouse; in various ways based on the E regions to the chaste ones; some days before the wedding.
