CHRISTMAS OF ROME; 21 April 1902. The Palilia festivity on the Palatino in order to remember the Foundation of Rome: two dress celebrate them a sacrifice on an altar; in presence of the people and the roman Senate. The Palilia was originally a festivity in honor of Shovels; divinity that it supervises to the fecondazione of the crudes oil and the herds to which they were offered focacce; rises; latte; a vitellino; blood of horse and steles of fave. In according to time to this festivity the recurrence of the Christmas of Rome was overlapped; still celebrated 21 April.
