Shrine Shrine Caporetto Caporetto Italian military (shrine of St. Anthony) Slovenia; Row of tombstones with the names of fallen soldiers; the plain background of Caporetto. The shrine was built and opened by the Head of State or Government of the time; Benito Mussolini in September 1938; years when the place was still the Italian territory.
