LANDINI elite also known by the initials LV 30; is an Italian-wheel agricultural tractor manufactured by Landini between 1935 and 1954 for a total of 3;462 specimens. The name of this model derives from a type of light infantry soldiers of the Roman army; the velites precisely; with light armor and therefore fast and agile; which later resumed during the Fascist era and attributed to the farmers engaged in the Battle of wheat; called Veliti. This is the smallest model proposed by Landini in the 30u0026#39;s and follows some of the characteristics of the largest Super Landini has a two-stroke engine hot-head (so called because the ignition of the mixture is caused by a hot surface of the cylinder; preheated before start using a flame attached to the outside); designed to use heavy oil as fuel or diesel fuel; consists of a single horizontal cylinder.
