Venerable Fr James ALBERIONE; (1884 - 1971) Founder of the Pauline Family and Editions Pauline; was the first church to deal with the media; claiming that the pulpit; for Pauline; were the microphones of radio; the TV cameras; the bookshelves. Inspired by the figure of St. Paul; who chose the medium of communication of his age; the letters; for his work of evangelization; Fr Alberione was the motto of "bringing Christ today with the media today." Recurrence on November 26; has been proposed as a patron of the Network was beatified by Pope John Paul II April 27; 2003; was declared Venerable by Pope himself with the decree of 25 June 1996.
